Although the first video is funny, I prefer the second video which shows 4 ways to help long term retrival. The first one is also fresh that helps to understand what the long term memory is. Yet, the second one is more clear to understand what the director want to tell .
The way I usually do to remember important is using notes. I oragnize what I have to do in a day , then I write some memo as a schedule list so that I do not forget what I have to do. To help long term retrieval, I like using the last method that is to find similarities and differences. When I was in high school, I used to use the way to prepare tests. It migh be the best way for me to memorize something important.
